Exit Ten are an alternative heavy metal band from Reading, Berkshire (UK). They named the band after the nearest exit from the M4 motorway - junction 10. Their cited influences include Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Muse, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley and according to Metal Hammer, Exit Ten are part of the "New Wave of British Metalcore" The nascent Exit Ten emerged in Reading in 2000 as a teenage punk and metal covers band composed of the three Steele brothers Chris, Stuart and James and lifelong friend Joe Ward. By 2003 the band had been writing and performing original compositions, settling on a heavier metalcore sound. Several miles away in Bracknell, indie-funk band Ant salon were struggling with multiple lineup changes and lack of wider national interest; the band's vocalist and lyricist, Ryan Redman, was looking for a new challenge. Redman joined Exit Ten in Winter of 2003, making his debut with the band at Reading's 21 South Street arts venue. The band were first on the bill. 2004 was the year the band began to pick up international recognition. April saw them record their self-titled EP with Mark Williams (Sikth, Oceansize, yourcodenameis:milo). The EP comprised 'The Absence of Forgiveness', 'Paralise', 'Sold Out' and 'Sound of BC', the latter songs obscure title actually derived from the name of producer Williams' cat. In the summer of 2004, the band was involved in Bernard Murray Productions' (responsible for MTV's The Real World) Richard Branson: Rebel Billionaire. Aired globally, Exit Ten were picked from 15 other acts during the show which eventually led to them playing on the NME stage at the UK's V Festival. On 27th September 2005 ET played as main support to Avenged Sevenfold for their gig at London's Astoria venue. The band was introduced to producer Andy Sneap in late 2005 to record ‘This World They'll Drown’. The band recorded the tracks 'Softwatch', 'Fine Night', 'Resume Ignore', 'A Path To Take', and 'My Great Rebellion'. This World They'll Drown was released through Deep Burn Records only in the UK on 12th June 2006. The band toured throughout 2006 with a number of established bands which included Blindside, Sikth, Every Time I Die, It Dies Today, Protest The Hero, Soilwork, Lyzanxia and Devil Sold His Soul. In June 2006 Exit Ten played the MySpace Stage at the UK's Download Festival, and in July that year played as main support to Deftones in Manchester's Academy One. In the first quarter of 2007, Exit Ten spent a week with Justin Hill and Dan Weller (Sikth/WellerHill Productions) demoing new material. In April 2007, two of these demos - Piece by Piece by Piece and Perish in the Flames - appeared on the band's MySpace page to stream in their entirety, to coincide with the band's début headline tour of the UK (dubbed 'The Great Rebellion Tour 2007'). In October/November 2007 the band entered Criterion Studios (formally Battery Studios) to record their first full-length album with producer Mark Williams. They recorded 11 tracks. On Wednesday 19th March the band recorded a video for their first full-length album's (Remember The Day) opening track 'Technically Alive'. This video featured the band playing in a sparse white environment. This track and video's planned release is the 20th April 2008. On Monday 21st April 2008, the band were announced on the 2008 line-up for the UK's Download Festival. In June, Exit Ten supported Alaskan metallers 36 Crazyfists on their UK tour before performing a triumphant set on the Gibson Stage at Download Festival. 16th June 2008 saw the release of their first full length album "Remember The Day". This included the tracks "Fine Night" and "Resume Ignore" from their previous mini album "This World They'll Drown" relased in 2006. Both tracks had been rerecorded for "Remember The Day". On 8th September 2008 the band released the single 'Warriors' in the UK. The single was made available in two formats; digitally including a bonus acoustic version of the single, and limited edition vinyl including the track 'Piece By Piece By Piece'.

CRASHDIET lose second singer
Just read some news that crashdiet have lost another singer according to blabbermouth.net here are heavy rumours circulating that Olliver Twisted has left the band this is the entire article on the news from blabbermouth.net:
Vocalist H. Olliver Twisted is strongly rumored to have left Swedish glam rockers CRASHDIET less than two weeks prior to the Scandinavian release of the band's much-anticipated second album, "The Unattractive Revolution". According to one unconfirmed report, H. Olliver Twisted — who is Finnish — sent the rest of the band an e-mail earlier today (Thursday, September 20) saying that he didn't want be part of it anymore. The group's previously announced Scandinavian tour, which was scheduled to kick off with a couple of dates in late September/early October and run through the end of November, is believed to be in jeopardy, as are the band's other promotional activities in connection with the new album's release.
An attempt to contact the group's guitarist Martin Sweet for a comment about the latest rumors has thus far been unsuccessful. As soon as an official statement has been issued regarding the singer rumors, it will be posted here first.
H. Olliver Twisted (of the Finnish hard rock act RECKLESS LOVE) joined CRASHDIET as the replacement for David Hellman (a.k.a. Dave Lepard), who committed suicide in January 2006.
CRASHDIET's debut live appearance with H. Olliver Twisted took place on January 21, 2007 at the Rest in Sleaze festival at Debaser in Stockholm, Sweden.
"The Unattractive Revolution" was mixed in the States by Kevin Churko and is due in Scandinavia on October 3 and in the rest of Europe, Japan and America later in the year. A video for "In the Raw" was shot by Mikeadelica and can be viewed below.
"The Unattractive Revolution" features a guest appearance on two tracks by MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars, who flew into Stockholm, Sweden in June to help CRASHDIET write some of the new material.

CRASHDIET
this is my first post in ages and this band is well worth writing about, this is all pretty much from wikipedia btw but its 2:30 in the morning and i cant be bothered writing. The band was originally formed in 2000. Taking influence from Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, and Hanoi Rocks, Crashdïet built up a cult following with the release of their first demos, several of which were released on their official website via download. In 2002, the band split up, and vocalist Dave Lepard reformed the band with members from the current lineup. In 2005, the band released their debut album, Rest in Sleaze, and embarked on a Swedish tour in the fall of 2005 to support the album. The album did overally good, although they weren't that known out of Sweden. The band also played at Download Festival in the United Kingdom in 2005, to support the album.Crashdïet has released four singles from their debut album "Rest In Sleaze", including "Riot in Everyone", "Breakin' the Chainz", "Knokk 'Em Down" and "It's a Miracle".On January 20, 2006, vocalist Dave Lepard (only 25 years old) took his own life after a bout of depression which he hid from family and friends. After the death of Lepard, the band announced the following statement via their website:"We feel that we want to carry on the Crashdïet legacy, which will keep Dave's spirit alive for a long long time.. It would be a shame NOT to spread the message across the whole world and let them know what real music should sound like!"On January 22, 2007, the band announced the addition of a new vocalist, H. Olliver Twisted. They officially released their entire debut live performance with Olliver via their website for free download for their fans. Later the band also announced plans for a new album The Unattractive Revolution, and a single, "In The Raw", to be released on September 5, 2007, in Sweden. On September 20, 2007 it was rumored that Twisted had left the band. Reports claimed he had sent the rest of the band an email saying he did not wish to be a part of it any longer. These claims were later denied by the band's bassist, Peter London, and the band's record label.[1] The album was released on October 3, 2007.On February 23, 2008 the band announsed via their official website that the second single from their new album will be "Falling Rain". ok so that was all from wikipedia my godsend lol um yeah but you can check out there myspace here and ill put the debut album in download section which is def worth checking out sooo good and ill put a couple of vids one with old line up one with the new so enjoy.
